Hear What Our Students Have to Say!
After almost a year of being out of school and working as a massage therapist, I can say that attending AIM was an amazing experience. The small class size, the material you learn, and the constant support from instructors is what makes attending this school truly amazing. Even after graduating, the continued support from Rose and her instructors is what makes learning from AIM a worthwhile journey. They truly care about you and making you into a competent and confident massage therapist that can make other people feel better. If you've ever had thoughts about becoming a licensed massage therapist, I highly recommend joining Alpena Institute of Massage.
My AIM experience was empowering and allowed me to confidently enter a rewarding career in massage therapy. Through AIM’s program, I learned the beauty of helping people move and feel better through intentional touch. I am grateful for supportive, creative instructors that care about your success in and out of the classroom.
The AIM program is built to help you succeed beyond the classroom. 10/10 experience!
Looking back, attending AIM massage therapy school was one of the most meaningful decisions I’ve ever made. I walked in hoping to learn a new skill, but I left with so much more confidence, purpose, lifelong friendships, and a career that I truly love.
There were moments that challenged me, helped me grow, and reminded me of what I’m capable of. The instructors believed in me, encouraged me, and created an environment where I felt supported every step of the way. Their passion for teaching and genuine care for their students made all the difference. My heart is so full of gratitude for this experience and everything it has brought into my life. If you are considering AIM, I encourage you to take that leap. It changed my life in ways I never expected, and I would love for others to experience the same sense of growth, fulfillment, and purpose that I found there.
I was lucky to have been one of the students in the very first AIM class. Rose’s 5 OG kids! The class was a challenge for me. I had been out of school for a long time and when I was in school I did not excel at it. Although massage had always intrigued me, I had to really push myself to take the plunge and sign up to do it. I could not be more glad that I did and also that I had instructors and fellow students whom all were an amazing support system and turned out to be some of the best friends and co-workers that I could have ever asked for.
The old saying is true that “if you love your job, you’ll never work a day in your life”. I love working on people and helping them live better and more comfortable lives. Having someone get off your table and having them walk out feeling much better then when they came in is such an incredible feeling! “I did that! I helped them!” It’s simply good for both their soul and your own. AIM gave me a purpose. Becoming a massage therapist was a puzzle piece which made my life more complete.
